Purpose of Meeting
The David City Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is hosting an informal genealogy workshop on Saturday, July 12 from 12:30-4:30 pm in the Columbus Public Library. Members of the chapter will be available to answer questions about research techniques, online resources, and evidence analyzation. DAR specializes in tracing lineage to Revolutionary War patriots. We also welcome any woman who believes she is a descendant of a Revolutionary War patriot to come and learn more about what it means to be a Daughter of the American Revolution.
