Tween & YA Writing Contest

Write one paragraph inspired by summer vacation!

Open to:
Tweens (Grades 5-8)
YA (Grades 9-12)

• It can be fiction or nonfiction.
• It is open to all students in grades 5-12.
• Paragraphs must be original and written by the student.
• Judging criteria include plot & characterization, setting & atmosphere, writing quality & mechanics, and passion!
• Paragraphs must not exceed one page, typed and double-spaced.
• Accepted file types are pdf and docx.
• All entries are due by July 13th.
